LAWRENCE
H. O'BRIEN, Jr., Ph.D
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL MANAGER, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT/BUSINESS
SOLUTIONS
Dr. O'Brien has been with DRC for 27 years. During that
time, he has directed several groups in the areas of human factor
engineering, training, simulation, knowledge management, manpower and
personnel analysis, business process analysis, and requirements and
systems analysis. Dr. O'Brien has directed a number of efforts to
provide support to a wide variety of military acquisition programs in
several systems engineering disciplines. He has also been program manager
for a number of complex management and decision support system development
efforts. Dr. O'Brien has also managed several research and development
efforts in the areas of human factors engineering, training, and knowledge
management/engineering.
Dr. O'Brien holds a Bachelor of Art degree from the
College of the Holy Cross and a Master of Science degree and a Doctor of
Philosophy degree in Cognitive Psychology from the University of
Massachusetts, Amherst. He is a Certified Professional Ergonomist.
