DRC Honored by Colorado Information
Management Association
On November 16, 2007, the Colorado Information
Management Association (CIMA) honored DRC for its outstanding
partnership with the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) at
an award ceremony in Colorado Springs. The members of the Colorado
Chief Information Office Forum spoke of their 10-year relationship
with DRC and highlighted the company's achievements over the decade
in designing, deploying, and maintaining a statewide infrastructure
supporting over 100 sites and 5500 desktop users.
All agencies in the State of Colorado were
asked to nominate a vendor who represented a quality
vendor/state agency partnership. DRC was recognized as a
true partner for the services it provides to the CDHS, the
second largest agency in the Colorado State Government,
which oversees the state's 64 county departments of
social/human services, the state's public mental health
system, Colorado's system of services for people with
developmental disabilities, the state's juvenile corrections
system, and all state and veterans' nursing homes.
The DRC Colorado Infrastructure Support team
consistently looks for a means to use information technology
to cost effectively advance the CDHS business goals and
objectives. This strategy is achieved by working with CDHS
annually to identify upcoming technology and refresh
requirements that provide additional services to CDHS and
its customers for little or no additional funds.
DRC was also recognized for its willingness
to be a true partner by implementing the correct solution
versus a contracted solution. As a result, DRC has a
reputation at many levels throughout the state of
Colorado—by customers, peers, and management—as being a
leader in information technology.
