DRC Builds on Growth Strategy with
Acquisition of Kadix Systems
I am pleased to announce that DRC has signed
a definitive agreement to acquire
Kadix Systems, a rapidly
growing, high-end management consulting firm headquartered
in Arlington, Virginia.
The acquisition will strengthen DRC’s
competitive position and build on our successful growth. We
will realize an immediate positive impact on our bottom-line
2008 performance – the addition of 270 highly-qualified
employees in the Metropolitan D.C. area and the gain of more
than $40 million in annual revenue.
First and foremost, the addition of Kadix’
high-end management consulting service complements our
strengths in IT infrastructure, business intelligence,
business transformation and training and will create a
critical strategic capability that will propel growth for
DRC. Government customers will have access to a combined
solutions portfolio with greater breadth and depth.
Second, DRC gains deeper penetration into
well-funded, high-growth target markets, including homeland
security and federal civilian agencies where Kadix has a
strong presence.
Third, this acquisition gives our business
development team new avenues to expand existing customer
relationships and build relationships with a new client
base.
Moving forward, Kadix Systems will be
maintained as a management consulting operating unit under
DRC and will operate as Kadix Systems, A DRC Company.
I am excited about the new strategic capabilities of our
combined companies and the tremendous opportunities for DRC
as we strive to help government customers meet their
mission-critical technology management challenges.
