SENIOR DATABASE SPECIALIST

Experience – Eight (8) or more years of software related duties including at least four (4) years of database specialization.

Functional Responsibility – The Senior Database Specialist analyzes and studies complex database requirements and devises system solutions taking into account data, information processing, and communications needs. He or she applies in-depth knowledge of relational database theory and specific product implementation to solve complex database needs. He or she exercises independent judgment and initiative in solving problems and performing technical tasks with a high degree of complexity. The Senior Database Specialist engages in direct contact with user personnel and may work with non-technical sources as necessary.

Education – B.S./B.A. degree in an associated discipline or the equivalent years in experience.
