Healthcare
DRC provides an integrated set of
practices to help Government healthcare agencies increase
performance, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.
These practices combine our solutions in IT infrastructure
management, program management, human capital and training,
continuous process improvement, and environmental and public
health with a detailed understanding of the unique
challenges currently facing the healthcare community--an
understanding that is derived from a long, successful track
record in supporting many of the Governments most critical
healthcare programs.
We know that the best information
leads to the best medical decisions. For over ten years,
DRC has helped Government healthcare agencies provide
reliable, high quality IT services. For example, DRC's help
desk support for the Naval Medical Information Center
extends back to 1998, when we developed Navy Medical
applications and supported them with help desk and other IT
infrastructure services. DRC also provides web site as well
as network and database administration, system security and
other information technology services to support and
maintain the Navy's HIV Management System (HMS). DRC
provides IT Infrastructure support to the Department of
Veteran's Affairs (VA) on a number of
their key programs including: Veteran's Online Application (VONAPPS),
Veteran's Personal Financial System (VPFS), Veteran's
Affairs Information Technology Center (VAITC), and Virtual
VA. DRC's IT infrastructure services are based on our ISO
20000-certified best practices for IT Service Management (ITSM).
We help highly visible and complex
Government programs rapidly produce results, meet government
requirements, and exceed the expectations of diverse sets of
stakeholders. Medical programs face major hurdles
is
quickly standing up to provide innovative services to key
constituents such as our nation’s wounded warriors. DRC
provides an integrated set of program management services
based on industry best practices from the Program Management
of Knowledge (PMBOK®) that can help meet these challenges.
Our program management practices are now being used to
support a number of key programs including the Defense
Center of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health and
Traumatic Brain Injury Program (PH/TBI), the DoD National
Intrepid Center of Excellence (NICoE), the Navy Central HIV
Program, and the US Army Center for Health Promotion and
Preventive Medicine (CHPPM).
Achieve breakthrough performance
through innovation. To achieve the true transformation
and breakthrough performance called for in current
Government strategic plans, healthcare agencies must
transform their culture in profound ways. DRC provides a
full range of Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) methodologies that can quickly enable any
healthcare organization to achieve its desired standards of
operational excellence and strategic performance goals. DRC's CPI Solutions are based on three founding
principles—strategic alignment, leveraging of existing CPI
capabilities, and achievement of client CPI self sustainment.
These principles permeate DRC's entire CPI approach and are
a key reason why we have become a leading CPI provider to
U.S. healthcare, government, military and industrial
organizations. DRC offers
comprehensive expert services in environmental and public
health for the evaluation, design and implementation of
Public and Environmental policies and projects. Our
staff of experienced health educators, physicians,
environmental engineers, epidemiologists, veterinarians,
scientists and program managers has successfully supported
many agencies including the U.S. Army Medical Department,
U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Homeland
Security, and U.S. Department of Defense communities. DRC's
expertise covers a wide range of subjects, including
clinical and field preventive medicine, environmental and
