is based on documented and tested human factors and crew
resource management (CRM) principles. MedTeams®
has delivered value to more than 100 hospitals and medical

The MedTeams®
Model
The MedTeams®
model relies on a train-the-trainer methodology so that each
organization builds inherent capabilities to succeed.
MedTeams® delivery
includes three components:

Site Assessment: an on-site
consultation to determine readiness for a teamwork
training plan.

Implementation: develops the
instructor cadre, delivers the teamwork training, and
includes performance assessments and implementation
consultations.

Sustainment: provides process
improvements and analysis as well as refresher training
to ensure that effective teamwork continues.
Enhanced teamwork skills mean that

better communication and coordination.
