Challenge
The U.S. Army Center for Health
Promotion and Preventive Medicine (CHPPM) provides worldwide
technical support for implementing preventive medicine,
public health, and health promotion/wellness services in all
aspects of America's Army and the Army community CHPPM
required expert support staff to facilitate and supplement
preventive health and environmental programs.
Solutions
DRC's staff of expert medical officers,
epidemiologists, environmental engineers, scientists, health
educators, and program support professionals provide
critical support to the Army's health promotion and
preventive medicine initiatives.
DRC team members provide numerous
services including training; design and implementation of
studies, data analysis, independent and collaborative
epidemiologic investigations, occupational medicine, medical
screening, exposure assessment, epidemiology, and industrial
hygiene.
DRC's environmental engineers provide
environmental health risk assessments, environmental impact
evaluations, environmental surveillance, studies of
hazardous material management, technical assistance and
training for development of safety plans and procedures, and
evaluations and audits of current and past Army
environmental programs.
