Systems Integration
For more than 30 years DRC has delivered systems integration
solutions, to help government organizations meet their
information needs and management challenges. We know how to
integrate heterogeneous information systems and technologies
composed of many different applications and infrastructures,
both commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and customized.
DRC applies a robust Systems Engineering (SE) process
to quickly deliver high-quality, low-cost products
(capabilities) that fully meet the operator's needs, and are
designed to easily and inexpensively accommodate growth
(scalability/expandability) of capabilities in subsequent
increments. Within our process, SE management is
accomplished by integrating three major activities:
- Development phasing that controls the
design process and provides baselines that coordinate
design efforts.
- A SE process that provides a
structure for solving design problems and tracking
requirements flow through the design effort.
- Life cycle integration that involves
customers in the design process and ensures that the
system developed is viable throughout its life.
DRC employs industry best practices in quality management.
We are an independently registered ISO 9001:2000 Quality
Management System (ISO QMS) corporation. DRC's Capability
Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) processes and work
products have been validated as fully compliant with
Software Engineering Institute (SEI) standards at Level 3.
DRC aggressively manages technical, schedule, and cost
performance risks throughout each program's life cycle.
DRC's Risk Management program continually identifies issues
and risks that are the responsibility of all employees.
Engineering Services
Our comprehensive engineering services support the design,
testing, manufacturing, and integration of advanced
components and systems. For more than 50 years, engineering
services has been one of DRC's core business areas. Our
