Logistics Information and Operations Network System (LIONS)

Challenge

A government customer needed a comprehensive logistics information management and decision support system to ensure operational availability of complex systems.

Solution

DRC developed LIONS, a closed-loop, secure logistics information system. LIONS provides role-based user authorization in worldwide trusted client-server architecture and secure operations across 10 sites worldwide. In addition to designing and developing the system based on open systems technology, DRC operates and maintains it and provides help-desk support, training, and data quality checking. DRC provides a wide range of security expertise to the LIONS program including: physical, information, operational, and communication. We support government and industry security process and channels for achieving system and network certifications and accreditation.
