Challenge

EVENTSHARE is an enterprise-level systems and software engineering process improvement program within NSA/CSS reporting directly to the Unified Cryptologic Architecture Office/Directorate of Engineering (UCAO/DE). This extremely visible program is the result of a Congressional mandate.

Solution

DRC leverages its own internal process expertise and resources to aid the government in appraising organizations within NSA, and assisting these organizations in improving their process capabilities. Through the ES program, DRC provides the NSA with some of industry’s most qualified process engineers, with experience in the areas of CMM, CMMI and the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). DRC and our team provide system engineering and process engineering support for NSA in a five-year effort to drive the organization to a CMMI-based engineering organization. Our objective is to ensure establishment of an enterprise-wide system and software engineering process architecture for NSA to support successful and timely deployment of mission systems.

This will enable NSA/CSS to consistently deliver superior quality systems in a timely manner and at reasonable cost, while providing the critical functionality necessary to support the NSA/CSS mission today and for tomorrow.
