Training, Doctrine and Combat Development (TDCD) Support
Challenge
The United States Army Armor Center
needed TDCD support to
aid the implementation of future concepts.
Solution
DRC is developing comprehensive concept
capability plans for future concepts such as Heavy Brigade
Combat Team, Tactical Ground Maneuver, Mounted Forces,
Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), and
Combat Identification. The plans describe how the concepts
apply to selected mission, enemy, terrain and weather, time,
troops available, and civilian conditions.
Benefits/Achievements
DRC support will help:
- Integrate Doctrine, Organization,
Training, Material, Leadership, Personnel, and Facility
(DOTMLPF) solutions for future concepts.
- Ensure that future concepts meet user
needs.
